Animal ID: 562Yollie (female)

Anatolian Shepherd    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Not Good w/ Other Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Hi, I'm Yollie. I was found running around in traffic on 71 Highway. Running in traffic isn't the best idea I've had but what else was there to do. I had no family, no friends, no one who cared about me. That's what I always wanted and really need - a family. I would be a great family pet to those with no other pets. With people I'm friendly, gentle, and not too demanding. I still like to jump fences so I'll need a home with a tall privacy fence that I can't climb. I promise I'll be the dog of your dreams. Do you have a little room in your heart to love me?

I'm a very lucky dog because this really nice lady saved me from a local kill shelter when my time was up!! WHEW!! That was close'|:-) Now she is my foster mom and she takes care of me. She gave me this name because of the markings on my face. I think I'm a pretty cool looking dude, don't you? I'm very friendly and I love to play! I'm still very much a puppy so when I get excited I tend to jump up but I'm trying to learn not to do that. I do okay around ... (Read More)children but I probably would do best with school age kids, 12 or older, because I might be too much for the smaller ones when I get excited. My foster Mom says I'm a little bossy and I can get grumbly with the other dogs if they try to take my toys or my food. I play with the other dogs but I would be okay if I was an only dog and then you could give all your attention to me! My foster mom also says I would do best in a home without cats because I really, really want to catch them and for some reason, she doesn't think that's a good idea! I don't really understand but that's okay'|I'll just play with my toys! I could also use some help learning how to walk better on a leash. I tend to get excited and pull '|I'm very strong. :-) Also, I'm not completely housebroken yet, so I will need some time and patience to conquer that skill. But I'm pretty smart, so it shouldn't take any time at all!! So, that's it about me'|.I'm really a nice dog I just need a family that will have patience and take the time to teach me how to be a good dog! I know I can do it'|.will you give me a chance? I have been neutered, vaccinated, heart worm tested negative, and micro chipped! If you want to meet/adopt me just fill out a application at www.furrykidsrefuge.org, click on the 'Adopt A Dog' icon and a dedicated volunteer will be in touch. Thank you for your interest in me!
