|Rescue Me ID: 15-05-12-00752Tucker (male)|
Tucker is a 1 year old Australian Shepherd/ Cattle dog mix that is about 55 pounds. Tucker is a little shy around strangers, but once he warms up to you he is a total love bug! He is a very intelligent, well trained dog who would benefit from an owner who could take him to obedience classes or would like to teach him agility. He is an active boy that would make a great walking or jogging partner and he does great with other dogs! If you think Tucker may be the guy for you go to www.DogsbyDebin.com to fill out an adoption application and then stop by our shelter during the hours listed on our site!! Tucker's adoption fee is $150 and includes his neuter, vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test, deworming, and an offer for 30 days of free pet insurance!! (Less)

Val and Sophie are Basset/Anatolian shepherd mixes. They look like large beagles. Probably mature at around 40 lbs. Both are current on heartworm preventative and vaccinations. Will need to be spayed by new owner. Sweet girls, have come from an abusive home, but have really responded to kindness and positive reinforcement. New home must have a fenced yard and will not allow anyone to adopt who just wants yard dogs. If you are interested in a new wonderful companion please call. Thanks

|Animal ID: 562Yollie (female)|
Hi, I'm Yollie. I was found running around in traffic on 71 Highway. Running in traffic isn't the best idea I've had but what else was there to do. I had no family, no friends, no one who cared about me. That's what I always wanted and really need - a family. I would be a great family pet to those with no other pets. With people I'm friendly, gentle, and not too demanding. I still like to jump fences so I'll need a home with a tall privacy fence that I can't climb. I promise I'll be the dog of your dreams. Do you have a little room in your heart to love me?

Anatolian Shepherds need strong leadership from their masters and are matched best with owners who have experience training dogs. An Anatolian Shepherd is a very loyal dog with strong protective instincts towards its loved ones. Anatolian Shepherds are wary of strangers and need to be introduced to new people. Anatolian Shepherds are caring towards children, but may not know their own strength and therefore need to be supervised around younger kids. A large fenced yard or farm environment is best for Anatolian Shepherds. Its ability to herd animals and protect the perimeter of a property makes the Anatolian Shepherd an excellent working dog.
