Rescue Me ID: 17-07-25-00095Lucky (male)

Anatolian Shepherd Mix    Age: Puppy

Are you looking for an energetic happy-go-lucky dog who loves life? Then you are looking for Lucky! Lucky is a one year old boy looking for his forever home. Our best guess is he's possibly anatolian shepherd mixed with some kind of Hound. Lucky is an overgrown puppy who just loves to romp and play. He does well with dogs and we think he would prefer a home with a dog pal to hand with while you are are not home. He is mostly crate trained, he does bark and whine some before settling down until you get home. He does need some help with his house training, leash skills, and learning the proper way to be in a home. A big puppy! Lucky loves ... (Read More)children, people and dogs. If you would like to make Lucky a part of your family please go to www.pawpatroldayton.com/adoptable-dogs and fill out an application for him. His adoption fee is $200. He is neutered, up-to-date on shots, dewormed, flea treatment, heartworm negative and microchipped. All of our animals are vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered before being adopted. Our adoption process begins by filling out an application at our website http://pawpatroldayton.com/adoptable-dogs/. Your application will be reviewed. Then your vet and personal references will be contacted. Approved applicants will be contacted for a meet-n-greet in the order applications are received. Then there is a home visit and then the adoption. The amount of time the adoption process takes varies. We are an all volunteer rescue. Please understand we are all doing our rescue work outside of our jobs, families, and other commitments. It takes time to contact references, to schedule meet-n-greets, home checks & adoptions that work with your schedule, as well as, ours. Please be patient with us during this process. We always want to place our dogs in a good home as quickly as we can. (Less)

Anatolian Shepherd Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Hello everybody! My name is Breyer and I'm an 11 month old shepherd/dane mix puppy. I am already a big guy so anyone wanting to adopt me will need large breed experience. I love to play with my 4 legged foster brothers and sisters. I will be introduced to cats this week so we will see how that goes. I am really looking for an active family that wants to spend time with me. I'm to active to be cooped up in a crate all day. I also need work on leash manners but over all I am a lot of fun and just want a home of my own. Apply online at www.realrottweilerrescue.com. I am in Avon Lake, Ohio.

lnteresting Anatolian Shepherd Trivia Low-Cost Ohio Spay & Neuter Clinics
Anatolian Shepherds have long been valued by herdsmen for their ability to best wolves in a fight. Anatolian Shepherds are very closely related, some say identical, to the Kangal, which is the national dog of Turkey. Exporting Kangal dogs from Turkey involves so many restrictions that it is effectively outlawed. Dogs similar to the Anatolian Shepherd existed over 6,000 years ago in Mesopotamia. Anatolian Shepherds have such strong herding instincts that they will treat other household pets as their flock and become very protective of them.
