|Animal ID: 0516Dodger (male)|
Hi there. My name is Dodger. I am about 7 months old and I weigh about 40 lbs. I came in to the pound as an owner surrender. I am a super sweet and loving pup. I love people and I get along well with other dogs. I am young and I do still need some training. Please research my breed mix prior to adoption to ensure you will be able to handle my behavior as well as my training and exercise needs. If you're looking for a great cattle dog mix to add to your family, please consider adopting me. **UPDATE** I was adopted for a short time but was returned for typical herding tenancies. I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer. PLEASE CONSIDER THIS DOG, AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHER DOGS AT OUR SHELTER AS URGENT. OUR KENNEL SPACE HERE AT THE POUND IS VERY LIMITED. THIS DOG COULD BE EUTHANIZED WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE ANY TIME AFTER JULY 10, 2014. HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS. MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY NEUTER SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO. THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS. (Less)

Jack is a 10 to 12 yr old male Aussie/ Heeler mixed dog. Jack was owner surrendered to us after living his entire life on a chain. His owners were going through a divorce and neither one of them wanted him. His story is sad but we can make a happy ending for him. He does have some hip dysplasia but he gets around just fine. Not even a limp. He needs a home to live out his final years. He deserves lots of love and kindness. He will require a fenced in yard or someone willing to train him. He is up to date on shots and wormed. The adoption fee is waived to the perfect home. If interested in meeting this cutie, please email email@example.com or call the foster at 419-591-6621. (Less)

Anatolian Shepherd Dogs can make good pets in Ohio if they match your IifestyIe. The Anatolian Shepherd is a large breed with strong herding instincts. Anatolian Shepherds need strong leadership from their masters and are matched best with owners who have experience training dogs. An Anatolian Shepherd is a very loyal dog with strong protective instincts towards its loved ones. Anatolian Shepherds are wary of strangers and need to be introduced to new people. An Anatolian Shepherd is very friendly towards people he knows well. Anatolian Shepherds are caring towards children, but may not know their own strength and therefore need to be supervised around younger kids. A large fenced yard or farm environment is best for Anatolian Shepherds. Its ability to herd animals and protect the perimeter of a property makes the Anatolian Shepherd an excellent working dog.
