Rescue Me ID: 14-11-12-00471Snow (male)
This is a very special litter of pups! They are on their way from Baghdad. I decided to rescue them and they arrive to the U.S. on 16 November. 100's of years of mixture . I would really like for them to find a great family as they are great puppies. I am almost sure they have Anatolian Shepard in them but since I had to chose a second breed I just put lab....which I can't vouch for. I am keeping the one in the very back... They have health certificates and up to date with shots. 3 male and 2 females. I will have them spayed and neutered.

Rescue Me ID: 14-09-24-01344Atlas (male)
We would like you to meet Atlas. Atlas is a pure Asian Shepherd also known as Central Asian Ovtcharka. This breed is one of the oldest breed in dog history. However, they are very rare here in the US. Atlas has all the traits and temperament that is common and prevalent in this breed. He is a giant baby and loves his owners. However, he is not good with other dogs. Based on his breed he is more of a protector and a guardian for his owner or animal that he is guarding. We are working on socializing Atlas. He is a gorgeous boy that loves to be petted and brushed. He came to us from a kill shelter and was HW positive. We have completed his heartworm treatment . He is doing great !!!! You may notice in the pictures his ears and tail have been docked. The docking in very common to this breed. If you have wanted a giant breed and one of the most beautiful dogs you will ever meet, please consider meeting Atlas. He currently weights 130 and needs to put on another 20. He is as large as or larger than a Great Dane in height. He has to be the only animal, no dogs and no cats. This breed, puppies range from $800 to $2000 for a puppy. In concern for families with small children, we will not adopt a dog to a home with any child under the age of 10. This is due to the large size of Atlas and the safety of your children. Our dogs are not aggressive or mean in any way, they can just knock down children easily. If you would like to visit atlas please contact St. Cloud's Rescue at www.stcloudsrescue.org or call 1-469-952-3332 or 1-972-679-5319. The first step in adopting from St. Cloud's Rescue is to complete an application. The application may be found OUR WEBSITE (not petfinder.com) at www.stcloudsrescue.org. Please click on the application process, complete and then email it or fax it to us at 1-469-952-3331. Once the application has been sent please call us to confirm that we have received it. St.Cloud's Rescue maintains the right to deny applications to anyone for any reason we see fit. St. Cloud Rescue is a non-profit 501-c-3 organization. St. Clouds Rescue requires new owners to purchase a one year supply of heartworm preventative from us, which is at cost. We require a home visit prior to all placements. There is a $200.00 donation fee. All dogs adopted through St Clouds Rescue must be indoor pets. Our dogs cannot tolerate the extreme Texas weather conditions. (Less)

Animal ID: 14-09--1-00166Walker Man (male)
walker is a very sweet man. I need to rehome him as he does not fit into my program now. So he needs to find a new home. I have had him since he was 6weeks old. I think he would be good with a family that could give him more time as I now work and take care of my farm by myself. I will try and get picture of him hopefully tomorrow.

PIease Read Before Adopting an Anatolian Shepherd in Texas
Anatolian Shepherd Dogs can make good pets in Texas if they match your IifestyIe. The Anatolian Shepherd is a large breed with strong herding instincts. Anatolian Shepherds need strong leadership from their masters and are matched best with owners who have experience training dogs. An Anatolian Shepherd is a very loyal dog with strong protective instincts towards its loved ones. Anatolian Shepherds are wary of strangers and need to be introduced to new people. An Anatolian Shepherd is very friendly towards people he knows well. Anatolian Shepherds are caring towards children, but may not know their own strength and therefore need to be supervised around younger kids. A large fenced yard or farm environment is best for Anatolian Shepherds. Its ability to herd animals and protect the perimeter of a property makes the Anatolian Shepherd an excellent working dog.
