     Bow was adopted by a wonderful gentleman that came into our lives by accident and said he was going to take some time to train him and make sure he's happy. He has already sent us some pictures of his life on his land. We will check up on him because we want to make sure he's happy and loved as much as we loved him. Now there's a hole In our heart for him, but so far we think this was a great match. He even has two other dogs to play with and they get along great. Will keep in touch and if not working out, we will post Bow again. Thank you for all of the support and interest. We are so happy for this site. If this man would not of taken him, we had two others interested in giving Bow a great home. Thank you, Rescue Me, for sending the word out about our little Bow.

     Sketch has a new home guarding chickens, turkeys and goats. He has a large open yard with grass, trees and sprinklers that come on in which he plays with his toys. In addition, he has three other dogs as buddies and open fence all around so he can watch and guard the property. We are so happy he has found a wonderful home. Thanks Rescue Me!

     Kabar has a new home with a lovely couple. I dropped him off last week and was so delighted with them and their property. He will have tons of room to run and play.      My husband and I have been raising and breeding Anatolian Shepherds for over 24 years. We have had as many as nine at one time. They are truly part of our life. We unfortunately lost five in this past year due to aging and illness. We were in need of a guardian of our sheep, turkeys, and chickens when I got the notice that Loki was available and needed a new home. I immediately responded and arranged to meet him. We couldn't be happier. We are slowly putting him in the barnyard with another Anatolian pup we recently adopted. Together they are learning to be present with the animals they are to protect. It is sweet to see them run and tumble in play and be naturally curious. Neither had had the option to run freely before coming to live at our farm. I feel we have given them a gift while being blessed to have such majestic and loving animals to share time and love with. I am grateful for the organization which facilitated this pairing and for the previous humans who cared enough to search for a good home for Loki. Thank you, Rescue Me.

     My fiance had had Anatolians in the past, but when his passed away, he decided that dogs weren't fungible and left it at that. Enter me, the lady that needs animals like she needs to breathe, and her two rescue dogs. They are really sweet dogs, and they are polite to him, but having been beaten by men before I took them in, they tend to make their lady owner the center of their universe to the exclusion of all else. I was curious about Anatolians after all the favorable things my fiance said about them, and started looking at pictures one night. I eventually stumbled onto your site, where Moses was posted. He looked so noble that I was curious and called the next day. I didn't really think it would go any further than calling, but I couldn't get Moses off my mind. When I told my fiance about it, he wanted to go meet Moses. By that evening, we had another family member, who absolutely adores both of us (but especially my fiance) and has the best manners of any dog I have ever known. I have no idea how either of us made it pre-Moses! My fiance is just beaming because now he has a dog who not only loves him to pieces, but has brought such peace and stability to our home and our pack! Thank you, Rescue Me, for bringing us in touch with our gallant Moses!

     We have taken Esme into our family, and as her former owner who traveled all the time said 'she just needs family and loving.' She and our other rescue dog Peaches are playing all the time. I have to separate them so they will take a break, and drink and eat. So far it's the best of times.

     Kaleeta got a wonderful new home with four gentle, sweet children and their parents. Instead of being unhappy hiking with me on leash to curb her protective instincts, she can use them to guard her new family's goats and chickens. The Rescue Me site was totally responsible for making this match and I am very grateful. I also can now use my time and recently reduced financial resources to take the best care of my other two dogs and finish school. Rescue Me was very easy to use, and I did not get subjected to any spam or advertising. It is a great service.      Hi Mr. Gold, I posted Tiny on this site and with in a few days a girl called to ask about him and said she would love to have him. She had cancer, seizures and was pregnant an wanted to make him a service dog for herself. She picked him up and after many tears and saying good bye, he is now an indoor dog who sleeps at the end of the bed with his new owner Dallas. He is even more spoiled then he was with us and is loving life. The lady called because she read this ad, so thank you so much! Carrie McCabe
